Brian is in their final year of the Bachelor of Urban & Regional Planning (Post-Baccalaureate) Program at Toronto Metropolitan University. They are completing their senior research thesis, Meet Us at the Steps, which will contribute to the Aging People Aging Places project. This study seeks to platform the experiences of older 2SLGBTQ+ adults in Toronto's Gay Village to understand better planning applications to improve conditions for aging in place. In addition to their passion for accessible urban planning, Brian is deeply invested in ecological and environmental planning, seeking to make our cities more liveable, sustainable, and resilient. Studying Philosophy at Lakehead University, they developed their passion for interdisciplinary applications of knowledge. Brian has experience working in various roles with public agencies such as the TTC and with non-profits like Stop Sprawl Hamilton. Brian is an explorer by nature.
